The Premier League got off to a dramatic start last weekend, and after just one weekend we have seen major moves in the betting to win this season's, Premier League.
In the latest outright winner betting, Manchester City's 1-0 defeat away to Tottenham Hotspur has seen Pep's team drift in the betting.
Going into the new season, City started off at 4/6 to defend the title they won easily last season. Now, after just one defeat, those odds have drifted out to 11/10.
All three of City's chief rivals for the Premier League won. So you won’t be shocked to hear that the odds on all three winning the title have been cut.
Ahead of Matchweek 2 in the Premier League, this is how the latest betting looks…..
Man City 11/10
Chelsea 16/5
Liverpool 9/2
Man Utd 5/1
Leicester 25/1
Spurs 35/1
Arsenal 100/1
……. the odds on Arsenal are pretty damning, and don’t reflect well on boss Mikel Arteta.
It probably also goes a long way to explaining why the Gunners’ boss is the even-money favourite to the next Premier League manager to leave his job betting market.
Matchweek 2 Preview
Looking at the teams in the top 4 of the betting, and the aforementioned Arsenal and Arteta figure prominently again.
Can Chelsea consolidate Arsenal’s Misery?
Arteta's Arsenal side host Chelsea on Sunday in what looks like the match of the weekend on paper.
If Arteta's plight isn't bad enough already, this is the last fixture he needs. And it doesn’t get any easier for the Spaniard, as they are away to Man City next weekend.
But Arsenal is at home, and with the fans back inside the ground, that should give them some hope.
On the flip side, Romelu Lukaku is set to make his debut.
Thomas Tuchel suggested in his Chelsea press conference that he his star man would figure, when he said he we are hoping he will be on the pitch for Sunday and things look like it.
And looking at the way the Gunners' defenders got bullied by Brentford, I can see Lukaku having some fun in this match.
The big man is 10/11 to score anytime, and 11/4 to be the first man to find the net. If you're feeling really bullish, he is 8/1 to score against Arsenal with a header.
Liverpool to make it two from two
Of the other title candidates, Liverpool gets the weekend off to a start at home to Burnley.
I don't see any problems for Klopp's men in the 12.30 kick-off on Saturday.
Pep’s City to finally get season going!
Manchester City is at home to the luckless Norwich at 3pm on Saturday. City are just 1/10 to win.
If they don't claim their first3 points of the season, expect their title odds to really drift.
Another happy away day for Ole
And finally, Ole's Manchester United. They visit Southampton on Sunday for the 2pm kick-off.
They are odds on to win (31/50), and given their form on the road (albeit last season), they will be expecting another 3 points in this fixture.

Bonus Free Tip
Nothing fancy about this weekend’s Premier League tip, it’s an obvious one.
Usually I look at the handicap market, or goals scored and match result, etc. This week it’s route one, Chelsea to win.
Arsenal are capable of halting Chelsea, but there just seems to be a cloud of doom following Arsenal around, with a feel good factor at Chelsea.
It just looks like a great time for the Blues to be playing the Gunners.
