Well, yesterday’s tip on Watford vs Man Utd couldn’t have gone much worse, thankfully we’re still in profit thanks to the previous Aston Villa vs West Ham match.

Anybody who could have predicted Watford winning in such fashion, I tip my hat too. The smartest thing to do in hindsight, would have been to have left Man Utd alone at the moment.

With Watford as bad as they have been, I thought United were a decent value bet. But obviously not.

Anyway, onto today’s bet, and it’s Antonio Conte’s Tottenham side against Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds United.

Both of these sides have struggled this season, and neither have got going.

Spurs last league match was a 0-0 draw away at Everton, in what was a safety first approach type of performance from Antonio Conte in his first match in charge.

The Italian would have wanted to not get beaten in his first match in charge, and he achieved his aim.

Today’s match with Leeds will represent a great chance for Conte to get his first win of his Spurs’ managerial career. And Conte won’t want to let this early chance slip by.

Leeds by all accounts have struggled this season.

They have had no Patrick Bamford for a few matches now, and along with a touch of second season syndrome, it’s been a bit of a struggle.

Going into today’s fixture they sit second bottom of the table on 11 points. They have just two wins this season, a 2-1 win away at Norwich, and a 1-0 home win over Watford….. who beat no one - except obviously Man Utd.

Spurs vs Leeds Match Betting

  • Spurs - 7/10

  • Draw - 3/1

  • Leeds - 4/1

At 7/10, I think Spurs are good value to win. But I think if I’m going to risk having a bet on Spurs - and let’s be honest, Spurs are a risk, I would want at least even money for any potential return.
